    Great Improvements!, April 1, 2012

“The improved quality of pixels, stabilization and color quality are worth upgrading.

Years ago I bought a JVC video camera for three times the amount of this one. I enjoyed that camera, but could not enlarge images without pixelization and videos were shaky.

Three problems I am seeing are:

    1. I keep accidently hitting the record button, because of its prominent position
    2. The touch screen gets stuck every so often, so I am not able to go to the next screen without holding the button for a long time
    3. Only a digital display, so hard to see if photo is focused in daylight. Problems focusing on macro pictures.

Feature I have had the most fun with is the time-lapse. Takes patience though, because to get any length of video, you have to let it run for a while on a tripod.

Another feature I like is bracketing photos where the camera will take several pictures at different light levels, but I keep forgetting how to get to this feature and I don’t have software to merge the photos.

Camera is lightweight, easy to hold.

I am happy with my purchase and recommend this camera to others.”
